Was givin a asus t100ta like new but after reading its seems it only supports 32bit efi it only supports efi looks like
Does solus support 32bit efi? Have had no luck getting anything to boot from usb even tho it lets me select it.
Has anybody even put solus on one?

Axios Does solus support 32bit efi?

I, for one, seriously doubt it. Solus is explicitly a 64-bit distro. I can't imagine that they'd support a 32-bit EFI, but then, stranger things have happened. Good luck with that!

WetGeek right behind you on research today. answer i've found is unlikely as well with some caveats:
      https://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-laptop-and-netbook-25/linux-on-asus-t100ta-4175541104/
one guy used a 32b grub to shoehorn a 64bit ubu and lived to tell..
others had 'success' but at the sacrifice of limited sound or hdmi
all other solutions and workarounds from this 2015 thread seem very much like try at your own risk.

short version: like WetGeek , I doubt it, too.

      No. We are 64-bit only.

Yup Fedora newest 64 image only one that I liked that worked t100ta just like the first macs crappy bios..lol
Thanks for the replies Not going run windows 8 lol

this was a 2014 gem of a tablet/notebook. From what I'm seeing (amazon) it barely ran Win 8 or W10 right @ 32 bit. I think you are in a proprietary padlock.
If I was gifted this thing I guess I would play it to its strengths and resurrect Windows 7. But then you'd lose the touchpad but who cares? It's free. And that break-it-into-2-parts-thing is kinda cool.

brent Its 64bit with 32bit efi bios it runs the fedora live pretty good it was freeeeee Was going set up a document server (I have lots of docs tech manuals i use alot)think it would be cool to be portable when i need to look something up Dunno going be fun....They ran 32bit on it because of the bios and some other feature that didnt work in 64 go figure microsoft!!!! I found a post a guy used fedora and it worked great for him all i can do is try right. Was going do it with ipad but got this dont have ipad.. Ya might try win7 never thought of that I think I saw a post about that they put win7 on it but used 8 drivers and it worked... oh I got a headache.....lol

Axios I completely respect a document server. One of the Internet's few gifts after the bells and whistles everyone else chases. I get it now. You wanted to see how good you could make the OS for this as a serious endeavor. Fedora and 64 and freeee. Can dig it, rock on.
