Yeah, gotop and ytop were made by the same developer, and he abandoned both of them. So, both of them were nuked in favor of an alternative by someone different, and that one is bottom (btm is the actual command). It should be just as capable (and more configurable) than the previous solutions, and the project has a much more stable history. 🙂
