tor browser key expired

hello i was trying to download the tor browser and i keep getting this error
when i dowloaded it from there site it worked tho the problem is that im using GNOME and adding an icon makes it view the icon as a launch application and not as the application it self

tor and tor browser are already in the solus repo. save yourself the headaches.

brent Correction: We don't offer torbrowser but rather torbrowser-launcher, which apparently is used to install Tor Browser. Haven't used either (tor or tor browser) myself.

Unless you can provide a screenshot and logs, dunno how much help you're going to get from folks here (granted I'd be surprised if anyone here used tor).

Okay, apparently they updated their key, see here
I just tried replacing that key in our build and after that it indeed works. Will submit a diff.

I regularly used tor in the past (but not in recent years, I'll give you that)

the problem is when i install the tor browser threw the launcher it says that the verification key is expired

mattiaoki Okay, I've submitted a patch to the dev tracker.
As soon as someone has taken a look at it, and if I didn't screw up, it should be merged into the Unstable repository. Then it will be part of the next Friday sync.
