I just installed Solus KDE Plasma. The default weather report widget does not work properly. It does not provide the NOAA 7-day forecast. Having recently used a functional version the same widget on a couple of other distros with KDE Plasma desktop, I thought it might be a bug related to Solus. So, I removed the kdeplasma-addons packages on my recent Solus install, and reinstalled the package just to be sure my default widget installation was good. That did not work. I then did a clean install of another distro where the widget was previously working and tried it there. As it turns out, the Weather Report widget on the other distro now has the very same problem. That make me think it is an issue either with a new version of the widget (the latest kdeplasma-addons package 5.19.4-55 just came out on 2020-08-01) or, more likely, NOAA recently changed the way it provides online data and the widget has not yet been updated to consume data in the new format. Anyway, I don't think it is a Solus problem. I thought I would post just in case others start reporting the same issue.
