Hi there,
I am having a persistent issue while trying to install Solus 4.0 via USB Drive. I'm seeing the following failures flashing up upon initialization:
- Failed to start load kernel modules see systemctl status systemd-modules-load.service
Then a dark blue Solus login text appears which quickly vanishes and is replaced by a black screen with flashing cursor.
I've tested my live USB on another system and it's worked fine there. It was also created following the instructions to the letter so I'm reasonably certain that it's okay.
In my BIOS I have tried toggling AHCI, Secure Boot and USB Legacy support in every combination without success.
I am starting to suspect that some aspect of my HW is just not compatible (it's a relatively recent i7 8700 CPU on Z370 MB).
Any advice for a Linux noobie getting ready to throw the towel in? It'd be most appreciated.
