I for the life of me haven't been able to get Solus to install on this darn thing. It has hybrid graphics. I've tried nomodeset and get a blinking cursor but can't drop in to tty. I've disabled nouveau by disabling it, that gets me to the GUI and I can drop into TTY I try to update Nvidia graphics. It looks like it finishes but then it freezes up and I can't do anything.

I have no problem with Pop, fedora at all. But I have an acpi problem and tried acpi=off and that did nothing. I tried to post a screen shot but it isn't letting me.

I really enjoy Solus on my desktop and would like to try it on my laptop so any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

I finally found out what I needed to do to get Solus installed on my laptop. I had to add nouveau.noaccel=1 and was able to install. I had to do it again upon first boot and did an update. I was then able to install Nvidia drivers after that. Everything is smooth as butter.
