I followed this tutorial to experiment with my own e-mail server and I'm quite certain I did everything else correctly, but I'm using Apache instead of Nginx, so I'm curious if I 'translated' the nginx-config into Apache wrong. At 6 min into the video he's doing this:
server {
listen 80 ;
listen [::]:80 ;
root /var/www/mail;
index index.html index.htm index.nginx-debian.html;
server_name mail.mydomain.com www.mail.mydomain.com;
location / {
try_files $uri $uri/ =404;
}
}
Which I converted into:
<VirtualHost *:80>
DocumentRoot "/var/www/mail"
ServerName mail.mydomain.com
<Directory "/var/www/mail">
Options MultiViews FollowSymlinks
AllowOverride All
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>
TransferLog /var/log/apache2/mail.mydomain.com_access.log
ErrorLog /var/log/apache2/mail.mydomain.com_error.log
</VirtualHost>
Obviously I'm changing mydomain.com into my domain-name.
