Then no, it isn't. Oslo/Norway is UTC+2. The time provided is UTC / GMT+0 (if you move your eyes slightly to the right of your red highlight, it shows the timezone). Date objects are, by default, based on UNIX epoch.

gnome settings -> date & time says time zone: CEST (oslo/norway)
and my time is correct everywhere except tbird

anyway, what do i do? this time zone stuff has always confused the hell out of me

I'm in same time zone CEST and have no issues in Thunderbird 78.0.

tbird still shows Mon Jul 20 2020 07:59:02 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time)"
firefox shows Mon Jul 20 2020 09:59:43 GMT+0200 (Central European Summer Time)"
and it is 09:59
i dont know where to fix this
