Solarmass Most applications are removing AppIndicator support. If there is anything we'd support beyond XEmbed-based system trays, it would be KStatusNotifierItem, but honestly it's not a priority.

      I'd be willing to extend carbontray with KStatusNotifierItem support, but whether that can fit within 10.5 or is something that should wait until 11 is up to Josh.

        serebit No, I want it to stay focused on the current implementation, and while I appreciate all the feedback regarding this thread, it's my opinion that there has been sufficient testing and changes made to this new implementation at this time, so I'm going to be closing this thread.
