al_l_en I recently read in the distrowatch review that their idle ram usage is in the 400 MB range, meanwhile mine is about in the 800 MB range. What are yours?
XerXes Depends on the theme I use with Solus Budgie. With one theme it could be about ~ 700MB with another more complex one it goes up to 820. Are you sure they were using Solus Budgie and not Mate or i3, cos I've never seen a Solus install go below 680MB.
JacekJagosz I have less than 540 MB after boot with a few things autostarting, but it slowly rises and after some time it rises to more than 800. There is even a bug request https://dev.getsol.us/T7049 and it a task that is supposed to be done before Gnome stack 3.32 update.
