If you're using Steam, right click it and click properties. Under the General tab click "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" and pick Proton v3.16-9. There are also some instructions to get the latest version of Proton working by removing Mono from the Wineprefix. I don't own the game so I can't comment.

Edit: Works fine with Proton 5.0-9 by removing Mono from the Wineprefix like mentioned in the comments.
