Have both Vivaldi stable and snapshot installed but neither show up.
Even after two complete shutdown/reboot.

-KDE with all updates.

Got it! Have never run an app via terminal before.
An ol' dog learned a new trick today.
    Thanks! 😉

For various reasons, did a fresh install.
Going through Software Center to install Vivaldi snapshot just seemed to jam half way so i went through the terminal instead and it installed in a flash! Even the program icon was in the menu (with no need to reboot as it happens with some distros)!

After latest updates this a.m., installed Vivaldi stable in a snap via Software Center.
Icon was there in the menu and it booted as expected.

danielson installed Vivaldi stable in a snap via Software Center.

Vivaldi in our repo isn't a snap, it's their deb files repackaged. We're able to do this because we are allowed to redistribute it (and I work closely with the Vivaldi folks on reporting Linux-related issues and the like).

JoshStrobl - no your "knot"! Being constantly in a tech ambience, it's easy to get "tied" up in certain way.

Btw, i'm super glad to know that Solus appreciates the "new kid in town" Vivaldi.
Has it been three years now that they've been on the scene?
Look how far they've come in such a short time!! 😃

danielson It's the first browser to come along to actually tear me away from Chrome and I've been using Chrome since it was in it's beta stages.
