Aidan-Crawford if not, what can it run? WINE, however, will run in Linux if you have Windows nearby. You can install Wine from solus repo.
Harvey brent WINE, however, will run in Linux if you have Windows nearby. It does not require Windows. WINE stands for Wine Is Not an Emulator. That is to say it is a compatibility layer and your mileage may vary depending on what application you're trying to run in wine.
brent Harvey you are probably right. I remember installing it, going directly to my mounted Windows C:/ drive and running an .exe from that windows C drive, back in the day. I thought that was the extent of it's capabilities.
