What do I mean by "personality"?
Adding pictures with people on the front page makes it more welcoming and newcomer-friendly.
Somebody new to Solus might think: "hey, look, there are actual people using Solus! That's cool. If they can do it, I can do it too".
Even a picture of a cat at the computer or a dog using Solus. Make it fun.
Screenshots of desktops is just too dry and technical. Every other distribution does that as well. We can do better. On Windows page there are pictures with 10 people in total. mac OS website shows 31 faces. Interestingly enough, Apple does it quite subtle, with covers of magazines, album covers, and stills from movies. Some of them are famous people like Conan O'Brien. Why they will do that? Because these guys had spent millions on research and learned that the product is important as much as the perception of it. So why not borrow some ideas from them? Put some people on the page, bring some life to it.
