Crackling sound when changing the volume in Firefox.

Hey guys,
I’m pretty new with Solus, but so far I like it a lot. This might very well be the distro I will stay with for a long time. But I’ve got an annoying issue. When for example changing the volume on a YouTube video in Firefox, the sound crackles a lot. It stops when you release the volume knob. So the issue is only when changing the volume. Sometimes the Firefox tab crashes. But this seems to be happening every now and again with Firefox. I’m using both a Bluetooth speaker and BT headphones. Issue is there on both. Does anyone know what can be done to fix this?

I think I had this issue too, but can't reproduce right now. Did you try Firefox version from Mozilla site or maybe Flatpak version? What about other browsers?

I am having the same problem when changing volume in KODI when Tauon music player is running.

Same as above poster--can't reproduce. Try other methods, as this poster also said.
At present, youtube in firefox goes like this----
cheap external speakers, volume changed up and down: no static or crackling.
crappy headphones I've had 10 years with volume changed up and down: no crackling or static.

Variables: no BT speaker, no BT headphone. BT issue?

I’ve done a bit more research. It seems to be only on YouTube videos this appears. Both on the site and embedded. I’m using the Asus BT-400 USB-BT adapter for my desktop. I’m going to sort out some cables and connect my headphones via the jack instead. To make sure it’s only on BT. The issues is more of annoyance, so it’s not make it or break it for me to use Solus. I just thought maybe someone hade come across this before.
I'm using the Solus pre-installed Firefox. Latest possible update.

Oh, this has happened before in youtube to me (crackling) but it was hardware: faulty plugs/ports where things needed to be seated just right.
the process of elimination you got going on may or may not be revealing. good luck finding the reason.
