Drivers on the live usb broken

I’m booting solus from the live usb now after 3 days of trying to get it to work, I’ve narrowed it down to being an issue with the nvidia drivers that are on the live usb(if any) I tried installing them through tty (sudo eopkg install nvidia-glx-driver) and different variations of that(340,390) and I always get a 404 error, how do I fix this?

edit: I also did sudo eopkg install nvidia-* to say screw it and install them all but the * option didn’t work so if you have a solution to that it would also be nice

Quant5 Just wanted to confirm: You're not connected to the Internet, are you? You're trying to use only what's on the USB?

According to this thread there are no nvdia drivers on the .iso at all (https://discuss.getsol.us/d/4510-can-t-boot-live-usb/8).
And if you made your live usb exactly as instructed: https://getsol.us/articles/installation/preparing-to-install/en/ then it should be OK.

I have no quick fix for you. But maybe search the forum for nvidia installtion usb issues or something. It's not uncommon to get hung up; it happens---keep plugging. edit: wrong word

Bhibb I was connected to the internet, ethernet and wifi adapter, I got it fixed after digging up an older card and using that, solus is great but the installer needs some work

Quant5 I won't disagree that the installer needs work. But it's fine for around 98-99% of users. There's certainly some edge cases that need smoothing.
