So recently my Laptop crashed during an update due to overheating
When it starts up it shows a black screen and after a bit of time it prints out an message of what happenned before it crashed
At the end itstarts writing:
[time] solus dracut-initqueue[386]: Warning: dracut-initqueue timeout -starting timeout scripts
[time] solus dracut-initqueue[386]: Warning: dracut-initqueue timeout -starting timeout scripts
[time] solus dracut-initqueue[386]: Warning: dracut-initqueue timeout -starting timeout scripts
... (writes this many times)
[time] solus dracut-initqueue[386]: Could not boot.
Warning: /dev/disk/by-partuuid/some index number I am too lazy to write out does not exist
(I should also mention that 386 is not alwas the number, I also had other numbers at different startups, but they are not greatly different)
It then leaves me in the dracut emergency console (I think that's what it is called, atleast it is some console where I can use some commands but not everything)
It alsogives some output on how I can view the system log, and where a file with the contents is stored (journalct1 for viewing it in terminal, and the file is saved in)
When viewing it I can see that right before the error it switched the clocksource to tcp, although that happens before it starts checking USB drives (as I know from that one time I booted with an empty USB in to save the file /run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt)
I would give the entire message but I can't access the USB drive anymore from another system (after saving the file with this method, simmilarly I can't find the Laptops SSD when I am trying to reinstall from SSD.
