Corectrl not opening

Sometimes corectrl doesn't open after being fully closed the first time I launch it.
It does show in System Monitor as opened but the the app GUI is not shown. It works fine the first time I open it but not the second or the third. The app used to ask for my password before opening but not anymore I guess newer update changed it. 🤔
Should I post this on dev tracker or is there other way to get around it? Other than doing a reboot that is. I am using Budgie.

Installed and thought this was a cool app. Installed via terminal.

Launched app from menu, not terminal. No password was necessary. It also opens an icon in task bar.
Messed about in GUI a while, exported a profile. Closed GUI successfully per normal upper right close button.
Had to manually remove (right-click) task bar application as well.
So a two-step process to close app.
System Monitor showed no corectrl running at all (a successful shutdown).
Terminal launch with NO sudo timed out here and would not launch:

Password thing I could duplicate; could not duplicate anything else.

I thought this app runes as root and it needs the password to open, I did use it before while running Gnome and it always asked for a password.

No launch with privileges either.
Went back to menu.
No UI launch at all this time.
Something isn't talking to something, laky if I had to guess.

Suddenly I can duplicate all the this. Can confirm.

Am going to go ahead and uninstall--just wanted to see if I could help with corroboration. It's a cool application.
