Cannot boot from USB for 4.1 installation

Hi,
I just downloaded Solus 4.1 and was trying to install it on my computer but it's gives me garbled screen so I use nomodeset for booting kernel and stacked on black screen with blinking cursor. My hardware is Threadripper 3970X Titan RTX and 64GB of ram. Any idea what could be a cause of this?

I always fat format the usb out of superstition.
Then I follow this to the letter: https://getsol.us/articles/installation/preparing-to-install/en/
(usually I do the DD install).
Might have to burn your live .iso again.

If I didn't read you right, and you actually meant the live usb works fine and you are only hanging up on the install-to-hdd/or ssd part, then my advice is invalid. If you simply can't mount/boot the live usb then my advice stands.

Seems like it's a problem with drivers for nvidia cards. Hope solus team with update it in installation to get it boot properly.

shrisha I have an Nvidia card too, and when I installed Solus to my NVMe SSD I had to do some tweaking to get it right. First, I had a two monitor set up. One was HMDI and the other was DisplayPort. When installing I couldn't get any picture to the DisplayPort monitor, so I had to do the entire setup through my HDMI monitor. Second, I was having issues with making sure I was using UEFI, because my installation media kept trying to default to legacy, somehow. Ultimately, I had to add this to my grub for the installation before I could install the NVIDIA drivers: quiet splash acpi=off

I'm not sure if any of this will help, but I'm running an Intel i5-9600k (6) and NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X with the latest Solus.

I'm not sure if it's the same issue but Solus failed to initialize from the first live USB I prepared as well. I had to use another tool (Rufus on Windows in my case) to make sure the drive had a gpt + uefi partition by choosing those in the corresponding Rufus dropdown menus.
