Can't start solus after update

It just gets stuck here.

What happens: I enter the password, press enter, it goes black for a few secs and then returns to this screen and stays like that.

I believe stable, I've downloaded it through the website a few months ago. I've also been updating it every time it needed.

Neeonn so it's since the last update in stable, sure that you dont have capslock active or inactive numlock and no typos?

Yes I'm sure. If I entered a wrong password it would prompt me to enter it again..

I installed Sweet gnome theme yesterday and just updated the system from software center.

Also I believe I saw nvidia something in last update and I don't have nvidia graphics so I believe that may be the issue.

Neeonn no these are just modaliases for doflicky not the actual driver. My guess is more you have an incomplete update, only thing is chroot into your system and check https://getsol.us/articles/troubleshooting/boot-rescue/en/ but you need to look around to see how to mount a encrypted system

Hey so I've kind of waited a long time to do anything because I had some other stuff to do.

I didn't have a disc or an usb nearby so I just used ctrl alt f2 and updated, nothing happened.
Checked history, firstly i reverted a few stuff that I manually installed () rebooted and tested, nothing, same thing happening. After that I just gave up and reverted a whole update, rebooted and now it works. I'm kind of afraid to update now. I will leave here screenshots of what all changed so if someone knows where it went wrong please tell me.

TL;DR my system now works, I'm starting to update it again and I hope everything goes smoothly. Done and rebooted and everything works as intended. Thanks @Girtablulu for your assistance, very fast and very easy to do. Love using solus! 😀
