Hi there!
I've installed Solus Budgie on a new Thinkpad T480.
After running the first update which went through OK I'm waiting for "Updating clr-boot-manager" and it's taking ages, twenty minutes if not more. It's "running" and just wouldn't finish the process.
Is there anything I can do without having to install from scratch (did that the first time round, but of course the laptop wouldn't be able to boot into anything as I had interrupted the updating process)?
I've installed in BIOS mode as I've always done it, the installer has given the correct feedback (bootloader, just one partition, no encryption etc.) and I don't think it's a EFI/Legacy/UEFI/BIOS or whatever misunderstanding.
Thanks for thinking and trying to help!

The problem was that I didn't install the hardware drivers via the tool "DoFlicky" first thing after having installed Solus Budgie on the T480.
As soon as I had done that (after my 5th or 6th installation...) the laptop would reboot normally and let me install the rest of the packages missing.
So, install Solus, reboot, install hardware drivers, reboot, install all other packages, reboot.
