I recently installed the Zoom client as a snap package.
It worked.
But before that I had quite some trouble trying to uninstall the Zoom software that I had running on my computer and that I had installed from an archive (zip or the like, can't remember precisely).
The 'old' Zoom client had worked, I hadn't been able to pin it to the panel but that hadn't bothered me.
Then I read that there was a snap package of the software, so I tried to get rid of the old installation to not mix it up with the new snap app.
But how do you uninstall something that didn't come via the SC or the repo?
I couldn't figure it out, so I just went ahead with the installation of the snap package, and lo and behold it worked! I could even pin the app icon to the panel!
The new client is a newer version and there are no errors when I use it.
But I fear that there are weird leftovers still on my computer that I should get rid of...
So, how?
