Hey guys,
Recently left win10 to Solus on my desktop and now giving it a shot on my laptop.

Facing constant battery drain and laptop doesn't want to turn on when i open it (if its not from no battery).

I've installed TLP and using default settings. Am I doing something wrong? Over night the laptop will go from 100% to empty even though its not on and its closed.

Tried looking in the settings and theres not much about it.

I had manjaro on it for a few days before moving to Solus and can't recall that having massive battery drain issues, and actually woke up (although very slowly) when i opened the lid.

Does the thinkpad just have bad support with Solus?

Did you check that it actually "Suspend" correctly?

I had some wakeup issues before

well i hit suspend/shut the lid so i always assumed it was. Also i can never hear the fans.... not sure if they're turning on.. but i havent got it hot under linux lol.

i read somewhere to try LTS so i booted with lts kernel, guess ill see what happens

LTS kernel seemed to have fixed a few of the problems, i'll have to see what the usage is like over a week or so though. I had 3% battery drop over night and it turns on (although flashes the screen a few times) when i open it up.
