I've been a 65 yo retired Linux desktop user (geek wannabe) and admitted distrohopper since around 2002. I am finding Solus Gnome to be possibly the best Gnome Distro that I (given what I like) I've used in a good while. I'm an openSUSE fan and, though I am, it lacks the fine polish I seek. Nuisance lackings of various kinds. Little stuff but a nuisance. Manjaro is super, but is not super stable when one upgrades packages. But Solus is easy, absolutely everything works, has or provides access via Flatpak to everything I use. Attractive theme choices. Super fast. And so far, solid as a rock. I just can't let it go, I'm afraid, anytime soon. It's too good. Thanks to all the development team!!! Terrific product.
