recovering EFi boot menu

Couple of months ago i've successfully installed solus alongside windows 10, however I had to run Safe repair for Windows and it override the boot manager menu. the only documentation i've found on the website doesn't work

when i'm trying to run sudo clr-boot-manager update I get [ERROR] cbm (../src/lib/system_stub.c:L31): Invalid block device: 0:36 Out of memory[FATAL] cbm (../src/bootman/update.c:L126): Cannot determine boot device

What is to be done ?
And why there is no official documentation for it ?

Windows is good at breaking Linux distros.

There's no official documentation as it's not a regular occurrence that this happens.

It might be that you have used the Windows EFI partition and Windows just over-wrote it.

I'd create a new one dedicated to Solus and use efibootmgr to create a new boot loader.
