some game need this too
sudo eopkg install libgnutls libgnutls-32bit libgpg-error-32bit sqlite3 sqlite3-32bit

That really depends on wich game you are installing, maybe the installer is asking for something else you need to install via Winetricks, I install games daily, some of 'em are... not so legal, but that's not the case.
Send me the terminal output, and try a new wineprefix, I'll see if I can help 😀

What do you mean by 'manual install setup'?

Lutris is in the repos:
sudo eopkg install lutris

I believe those games also have installers ready in Lutris. Search for the game, click 'Search Lutris.net', select the game and click Install.

[deleted] some installers do allow install from CD. It just depends on what's there as the installers are community built. When you click install on Lutris, it will give you options to choose from (if any).

It would also be possible to write your own installer if there isn't an appropriate one for you to use. Perhaps viewing the installers already there would give you a head start (eg, changing the resource location to point to your CD instead of somewhere online).

[deleted] Ok, since I don't use lutris, I'll teach you to use a common installation of wine.

First, open a terminal and let's create a new folder for wineprefixes, just for organization sake:

mkdir ~/wineprefixes

Now enter your mounted media installation, as I can see it is /run/media/rasenkai/Assassin's Creed Rogue, so cd to this folder:

cd '/run/media/rasenkai/Assassin's Creed Rogue.iso'

Now create a new wineprefix:

WINEPREFIX=/home/rasenkai/wineprefixes/AssassinsCreedRogue wineboot

OK, new prefix created just for your game, we'll try to install the game with the installer:

WINEPREFIX=/home/rasenkai/wineprefixes/AssassinsCreedRogue wine setup.exe

It should, in theory, start the installer, wine has all the dlls to start nearly everything without any override nowadays.
If not, then this is the time, bring me the terminal output.

If you need anything installed, the terminal will say with errors, the lutris log you gave doesn't gave any info. 🙂

[deleted] Hum, there's nothing in there too, the only complain is the "err" with "richedit", we can try to fix it, but it doesn't seem to be the stuck reason, and install corefonts too.

WINEPREFIX=/home/rasenkai/wineprefixes/AssassinsCreedRogue winetricks msftedit riched30 corefonts

If, again, failing to proceed with installation, debug to me:

WINEPREFIX=/home/rasenkai/wineprefixes/AssassinsCreedRogue WINEDEBUG=+all wine setup.exe

This will generate a HUGE terminal output, or not, but eventually it will help... it is good for subtle issues.

This should do it, I'm Downloading the game iso, for testing purposes, and see if I can run the installer myself, I'll come back later with the results, I mean, It shoud've worked already, what is the problem...

Results:
Tested installation with Assassin's Creed Rogue 1.1.0 from an original dvd iso from ubisoft, no modified or pirated iso, installation went fine, without any override... haven't tested game, my pc cant stand it, my CPU is dual core only. 🙁

IF, and only IF your installation got stuck again, see if you can install the game in another computer or on a windows and copy the files to your linux, In my opinion, the disk is somewhat corrupt or wine is not working perfectly, for the second I would try to install another game to test.

[deleted] if you want to use the wineprefix we created, you can copy to
/home/rasenkai/wineprefixes/AssassinsCreedRogue/drive_c
and inside the folder with the exe, use the classic command:
WINEPREFIX=/home/rasenkai/wineprefixes/AssassinsCreedRogue wine 'executable.exe'
