Virtualbox, Windows 10, and the Inability to Install Guest Additions

So, Solus is fully updated. Installed Virtualbox without an issue. I was able to install Win10 without any apparent issue. However...

I cannot install vbox guest additions through either the Solus repository, or using the vbox included method of downloading the current .iso.

This question is posted here, and not at a vbox site because this issue has never existed with any other linux distribution I've used in the past. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but this appears to be an issue specific to the way Solus implements vbox.

Again, this is a fresh Win10 install in vbox, without any updates at all...it should just be working, but isn't.

And, I hate to sound like I'm rambling on, but you can see that even in my first screenshot, vbox wasn't even placed in my dock/taskbar as a running application. That alone tells me something between Solus and vbox isn't quite right.

Update: Found a solution.

Go here http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/ and find the corresponding version to yours.
Download the guest additions iso.
Load into virtual drive
Go ham.

I don't have a windows to check but this was fixed with the sync of the 2nd week of February.
So I guess your system may not be fully up-to-date.

sudo eopkg up
