sudo eopkg check | grep Broken | awk '{print $4}' | xargs sudo eopkg it --reinstall
this command would not work in ctrl-alt login page until i remooved somebroken packages and reinstalled them manually, mindful of dependencies.
why I had to do manual work, I don't know. I had about 50 busted packages. so maybe the command appreciated I took some initiative?
you might get lucky, thought.
eventually when I could use this command it fixed what it had to, and I at least got my gui greeter login screen, n. then it booted into the wrong operating system (open box?) ------but as long as I had an operating system I could fix everything back to normal.
high contrast must have had a lot of friends it took with it๐
