I'm not sure what your goal is. However, you should be informed that the new Extensions app built in to GNOME Shell 3.36 auto-updates all installed extensions without user permission, and that function cannot be deactivated, nor can the app be uninstalled currently. So, if you are attempting to have GNOME Shell stop bothering you with notifications every time you use Chrome, you will not succeed merely by removing the Chrome extension.
If you think this will be a stability, security, or annoyance issue for you, you should file a bug report with GNOME about the new Extensions app to address the issue by adding a Disable Auto-Updates switch.
If Solus GNOME edition devs start getting inundated with bug reports pertaining to inevitably broken extensions as they auto-update irrespective of Solus' GNOME Shell version, perhaps it will be wise for future Shell builds in Solus to be compiled without the new Extensions app built in. AFAIK & according to GNOME dev blogs, Shell can be compiled without Extensions app built in, and Extensions can be compiled as a separate app that then may be installed or removed from the Solus Software Center as a separate eopkg for the convenience of users. Not an ideal solution, though.
