Changing a specific icon

Hi. How can I change an specific icon that is showed on the Menu and the Panel.
For example i want to change only Firefox Icon and System Software.

This is not an 'I know this' but rather 'I found this' type of answer.
It appears you will find icons in /usr/share/icons, it appears they are broken down by gtk-themes. I find firefox there...I would assume you replace these icons.

Also not a "i know this" but my "you could try", Menu apps file '.desktop' are stored in /usr/share/applications/ you can try to open firefox.desktop there with a text editor and modify the line Icon=firefox to your icon ;

My guess is any relative name like 'firefox' would link to the corresponding icon of the current theme so you should go with the absolute link to your image /home/your-name/Images/something.png or whatever ;

Same thing for System Software it is solus-sc.desktop

Yes. Thank you all. I found that this was very easy. Just replace the old icon with the new one, and that is all.
And of course they should be at same size.
