Robert3945 WiFi...You may have to install Solus and perform some additional procedures to get your WiFi to work. You didn't state what type of network card you're using (inxi -n on the commandline would tell you), but check out my post on getting Broadcom WiFi cards to work under Solus.
...pops up a confusing window of information... It would be much more helpful to get help from someone if you could provide the actual information. Use your smartphone to take a picture and use a service like PostImage to add a forum link to the picture in your forum post.
I can't help you with the UEFI issue. I use legacy BIOS on both of my machines. Check out Installation Issues in the Help Center or search the forums using UEFI as a search term, assuming you haven't done so already.
