To launch a second instance of an application, such as a terminal, I can right-click the icon on the panel and select either 'new window' or the plus in the pop-up menu. I would expect the menu to close but I stays open and retains focus, which means I need to click on something to continue. My request is to close the pop-up when an item is selected.
