Hi dear Solus community,
I recently installed Solus Budgie. First a big thank you for the great operating system! I love it so far! 🙂
But i also encountered some bugs. Most of them resolved themselves (computer not waking up from idle, not working shortcuts,...), but there's one that still bugs me. There is a lot of weird stuff going on with the taskbar. And i don't really know what's a bug and what is just behaviour i don't like. The issues i encounter:
- Sometimes i have programs open without them appearing as an icon in the taskbar. That happened with LibreOffice Writer a lot
- When i have 2 or more windows of the same program open and i click on the icon in the taskbar (with multiple dots below the icon), it either just opens one of them or none at all - i still haven't understood why it works that way. Is there an option to choose which window should open up without a right-click on the icon?
And one improvement i would love to see:
When i miss a notification (for example for a Signal message), there's nowhere else an indication that there is a new message. And i don't just randomly look into the notification center. An option to let the icon of that app in the taskbar lighten up in a different color would be nice (similar to Windows or Linux Mint).
Thanks in advance
I hope the questions aren't too "nooby"
