I've been using Solus for quite a while now, but never had to use the laptop webcam. Now I've installed Skype for some work and tried the configs, but it only shows a dark screen. Tried with other webcam software (i.e. cheese) and the results are the same.

Anyone care to shed some light?
Edit: I've checked on lsusb -v and it showed "Couldn't open device, some information will be missing". Why it couldn't open it?
