I'm flabbergasted with Budgie's unpopularity

I don't have a clue why Budgie is * still * not available in Mageia , FreeBSD , ghostBSD , NetBSD or openIndiana .

To make matters worse - Fedora , Arch and openSUSE have * removed * Budgie Interface from their repositories .

I don't have a clue what is going on . MATE can be modified to look good and I like GNOME , but for me nothing compares to Budgie .

If somebody wants to use Budgie , they have * no choice * but to use a Debian Derivative or Solus . Why is that ? Why are all the other Operating Systems against it ?

Edit: I see that Fedora/OpenSUSE are on older versions of Budgie. I'm guessing the maintainer lost interest or disappeared.
