Cross-Platform game, runs even on Solaris, X-Box, PS-4, PC, Mac.

What software does it launch from? Or is it standalone?

Standalone, shows options for OS's, select what you're using and it downloads the Launcher.

lightbodyae55 Some right-click options (eg. when right-clicking a panel) would be welcome to make that easier

kyrios My folks do, and they like it

I run Budgie, I like Plasma (on other distros), but I haven't tried it on Solus. The problem right now with Plasma is that apparently it doesn't like some AMD cpus and locks up somewhat randomly (but usually somewhere between 15 minutes and 4 hours). I've tried a number of them, all have that issue for me. No one appears to have a solution, so back to Budgie and Solus I came.

    Budgie by far.
You guys make your OS's compatible with older rigs, thank you.

Can't see the link for Plasma edition on the site, where can I get it?

Harvey NIce. Does it use the latest Plasma version?

      KDE Plasma Version 5.14.5
      KDE Frameworks 5.55.0
      Qt Version 5.12.1

Girt is working on Plasma 5.15:

I use Plasma with : Asrock AB 350 Pro-4 and a Ryzen 5 cpu, i have had freezes, but they were right after fresh install, once updates were installed, it was fine.

kyrios I was just kidding, I think an i3 flavor would kinda be against Solus philosophy anyway, it's a pretty advanced environment. πŸ™‚

Budgie for sure. Simple and sleek, with the right amount of customisation to be able to tweak the DE without spending days on that task.

And I really like those sane default settings. It's a proof of intelligence in the making of a user-friendly distribution.

I really can’t choose one; they are all great in one way or another. I am currently using Budgie on my laptop and regular computer but Mate for the computer I use for packaging and other cpu intensive stuff. Best user experience stems from Budgie and the Plasma experience are both great πŸ‘

Such a small amount of MATE users πŸ™.
I went with Solus MATE from the beginning on my laptop. I chose it over Budgie, since it seemed that laptop gets hotter when running on Budgie than on MATE. And i am happy with it. It's not as pretty as Budgie, but it works fine, settings are easy to find and etc.

Though "Users & Groups" still doesn't function as it should in MATE (or should i say doesn't function at all), are there any plans to fix that, cause it's been a long time since that problem appeared. Stuff like this should be working as this is something where a new user would go first to deal with user settings, change a password and etc.
