moore-bryan My system looks a bit different than yours, I have one current kernel and two LTS Kernels, when I get that menu on startup.
The current kernel worked well, except that one game I was playing crashed and it works great on the LTS kernel.(Everything else works too, including wi-fi connection to a smart phone.)
I installed the LTS kernel from the software center, under "software software" and then under "Kernel Images".
Right after that I wanted to change to the LTS kernel as my default kernel. I had to do the following:
Boot into the LTS kernel first.
Run the sudo clr-boot-manager update command.
Then shut down the PC/laptop or whatever your using.
I tried restarting after trying the switch and got a black screen with blinking cursor. So go through that process and shut down instead of restarting.
That worked for me.
Let me know if it worked for you, please. Just one last thing, first try to see if your wi-fi works while booting into the LTS kernel before switching to it.
