Well, I'm kind of a late-time joiner. Tested several Linux distributions, so I would call myself 'distro-hopper' in the good way. My #1 thing was to stay with my best-liked apps and graphic drivers (amdgpu-pro), but this has changed lately, as I found a way to stay with mesa-drivers. I found Budgie UI to be slender and clean, which I prefer, so I tested it on other distributions before, while drivers/repositories kept me (wrongly) from testing Solus itself. Well, I found out now that Solus could compare with the major distributions in stability and easy-to-use. For now I keep using Solus as my main distribution, but am still also impressed by Arch's AUR repository support and as well with Deepin UI desktop.
