I like the idea behind it - that it adjusts automatically according to ambient light, but on my laptop it's not really usable. It starts up, and then the screen goes: dark ... light ... lighter ... dark ... light ... lighter ... over and over again, continuously. The only way I could find to shut it off was to reboot. Just removing it using the software center didn't do it. It still kept going, and I couldn't find a proc ID to kill it.
I'll try it again on a couple of workstations here. Maybe it will operate as expected on different hardware. In any event, thanks for the suggestion!
