I have a problem with my Wifi Card . I can not use it , it switch permanently between ON/OFF . After i was looking around the Web , i found that the current Kernel has some problems with this Firmware . I had the hope , that the lts kernel will fix that problem , but solus do not boot if i chose them . What can i do , is there a fix ? Or did i something wrong ?

I'm getting the same issue. The system seems to be loading and then unloading the wifi driver about twice per second. The wifi options will appear and then disappear in the system menus (in the tray and in the settings). inxi output also changes if you can time it right. The driver will change from iwlwifi to N/A. I'll attach both inxi outputs in a followup post. This started after the linux-current update to the 5.4.12-143-1-x86_64 for me, although I hadn't updated in a while, so the problem may have existed earlier.

I can boot to the linux-current 5.3.15-138-1-x86_64 kernel and wifi will work, so that's what I've been doing when I need wifi. Wired ethernet works fine with the 5.4 kernel, as does everything else I normally use on the machine.

My problem is , I install a fresh copy from the 4.1 ISO . And it come with the 5.4 . And with the 4.9 lts , my PC do not boot . With the kernel from the 4.0 ISO it runs not so smooth . I use a USB WiFi Stick and wait for a Kernel Update . From Manjaro , I know that the 5.4.14-2 Update will fix this bug 🙂 but if someone has a idea how to get the lts kernel to boot it would be nice 😉
