Time to remove Rocket League from the website?

If you didn't know, Psyonix (now part of Epic) is ending support for Linux.

I've played 370 hours, all on Solus, but no more. 🙁

I would try for a refund like the developers themselves suggest.

Our plan yesterday was to have players contact us directly about refunds for the base game so we could help you obtain one from Valve as quickly as possible. This was supposed to happen in conjunction with Valve issuing refunds to players who have played Rocket League on macOS or Linux. While Steam’s normal refund policy has a two week purchase and/or two hours of play window, we coordinated with Valve to expand eligibility to anyone who has played Rocket League on either platform.

That process did not work as planned, and we’re sorry for the frustration this has caused for anyone involved. At this time, anyone who has played Rocket League on macOS or Linux can contact Valve about a refund for the base game, and the refund should go through.

sad that you can still buy the game for linux on steam, best avoid Epic and all their satellites

I wonder what "new technologies" they are actually planning on adding that would make Linux support less viable?

kuki Yeah Epic has definitely been creeping me out for a while now. I hate boycott culture and things generally, but in this case I think you might be right about avoiding them for now.

Switched out the banner from Rocket League to Oxygen Not Included. Just force refresh that page or clear your cache and you'll get the updated banner.

No matter what you think of the developers, they don't deserve free publicity from a Linux distribution.
