adurante Edward78 you could try putting in a package request but more than likely there is a similar software already in the repo Would OBS-studio fit your needs here? I am unfamiliar with Kazam specifically
Scotty-Trees Edward78 As far as I can tell from their launchpad and github accounts, there hasn't been a stable update in years. Solus is a curated rolling release distro with up to date software for modern hardware. Generally, if something hasn't been updated in years and isn't generally used/needed by a lot of users, the odds of it being in the repos are slim. However, there are still plenty of other screen recording applications like obs-studio or simplescreenrecorder that should satisfy most users needs. You can always request a package like @kyrios suggested: https://getsol.us/articles/packaging/request-a-package/en/
NaomiJ Is Kazam an easy screencast software for Linux?? I'm not good at this and OBS seems too complicated. If there's mere good-to-use tool, I will have to turn to my old windows laptop with recmaster recorder...
laky NaomiJ there is SimpleScreenRecorder in the repo, and it is pretty easy to use. But if you need to stream your content online then OBS-studio.
