Is anyone here using the remote desktop protocol to connect to other machines from a Solus workstation?
I ask, because I want to be able to perform such tasks as upgrades to a number of machines here, but to do it from my Windows laptop. As a Windows developer, it was a feature I used every day, but I can't understand why I can't make it work with Solus.
I've installed xrdp and its X.org drivers on every Solus machine at this location, and freerdp as a client. But whenever I try to initiate a connection to any other machine, I get a message telling me that freerdp can't be found. Going to the Software Center and searching on freerdp confirms that it's installed, because it provides the option to remove it.
What's up with that?
