Did a clean install to the laptop and the touchpad is not working on my Lenovo Thinkpad 11e (20D9). Any ideas?

Clean install from which ISO? All updates applied?

zerolozen So a Solus 4 ISO or and older one (they all come from the same place).

Have you tried to apply all the updates? (I.e. Connect an external mouse so you can work, do a full system update then reboot & unplug the mouse to see if it now works).

kyrios Thank you for your reply. Yes I did try that, and have verified that works. The device used was a wireless Logitech K400 USB keyboard/touch pad. Updates were/have been applied followed by a reboot. I also verified BIOS is up to date for my specific model laptop and anything touch pad related is enabled. Same results...

Was your first sentence intended to be a question? If so, I downloaded after the release of version 4.

On some laptops there are a function key(Fn) to disable/enable the touchpad. I guess you checked that already if yours has such a key, but sometimes the most obvious things are the one we forget so I ask anyway.

I haven't tried creating a new bootable USB from a new downloaded I saw within the last week. But I even booted to the one that I created for the current build, and even running it as Live, the mouse still does not work. Maybe I will create a new portable USB drive and try it from a different ISO. If that doesn't work I'm going to have to switch distros. I don't really want to because I like the concept of Solus. but at this point I need a functioning laptop that isn't running Windows.
