Hi. I have a RTX NVIDiA card and to install Solus the current nvidia driver is needed. When installing nvidia-glx-driver-current package I get the message "Could not fetch destination file "https://mirrors.rit.edu/solus/packages/shannon/n/ ... /nvidia-glx-driver-common-418.43-288-1-x86_64.eopkg" : [Errno 14] HTTPS Error 404 - Not found"
Maybe the link from common to the desired version is broken ?

Having still the same problem.

just checked that version, is a bit an old one

please run

sudo eopkg rdb

and then try updating again

Also make sure you've fully upgraded all packages first. sudo eopkg up

Happy New Year 2020 !
My problem is prior to updating. I start Solus from an USB stick for installing the OS. This ends up in a black screen because of the NVIDIA RTX card and missing nouveau support. Therefore, I switch to console mode for installing the nvidia driver. After restarting lightdm I could proceed with the standard installation procedure. This worked well some weeks ago but since yesterday I get the message quoted above.
When starting from USB and performing an update the problem isn't solved. Also a black screen is visible. I guess, In that case the old kernel is still loaded and the upgraded NVIDIA driver is compiled for the latest kernel.

I am experiencing the same issue. I have tried various things to get drivers installed, but still the blinking cursor persists. Prior, installing current drivers and restarting lightdm was enough. I tried installing the 390 drivers, as I believe the 440 will not work to the 4,x kernel the ISO image has. Is there any ETA on ISO refresh?
