Flatpak is well integrated with GNOME software app, but you prefer to provide your own GUI for software installation, which is worse than GNOME sofware app. Is any alternative GUI exist for Flatpak in Solus?
Flatpak GUI
When are you planning to release it?
Any news on Flatpak integration with Solus Software Center?
I've been using Sideload in the mean time to install them direct from flathub. No copy/paste or terminal involved once setup.
is it also planned to include DoFlicky also in the Solus Software Center?
Chrym yes
You people use flatpak very often. Is there reason for that? Some apps are missing from solus repository?
salexandarz My music player only available as flatpak
salexandarz yes, there are some Applications missing, for example Microsoft Teams and Zoom, both needed for work with my customers. My wife needs also WhatsApp Desktop Client.
salexandarz I'm using Flatpak packages sometimes. For example Olive video editor is not included in Solus repo. Also I choose to use Flatpak packages when I'm using software like kdenlive on non KDE DE. It gives a bit of order to all of those dependencies of KDE...

For work, I needed proprietary Zoom. Flatpak saved the day.
But what if Flatpak is integrated in the SC? Will it come with a caveat or warning like the 3rd party page?
I figure, for the most part, if it's not in the repo, I shouldn't have it.
You all have me wondering if that's outdated thinking now?
@winnie71 Removed comment. Installing software via pip is discouraged as it may result in the overwriting of python packages we ship, causing breakages to repo packages.
