We can't use gdrive integration anymore because it is not approved by google.
What can we do to get approved ?

Maybe your answer is best: "because it is not approved by google."
In my professional life Outlook and Gmail refuse to acknowledge each other and this creates problems that are epic for me.
But I dislike these unsolved posts. I read this after some time this--https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/how-to-access-google-drive-from-linux-gdrive/
According to this there is a lot of configuring and confirming access codes and quite a bit of basic terminal work to make it happen. Maybe it was never that way before but things always change. Wishing you luck.
edit--clarity hopefully
Using an already configured Google account with KDE and I can access my Google drive in Dolphin. Gdrive application (command line) also run fine. Did not try to add an accont however.
This is an issue with Google blocking Qt WebEngine. There isn't anything we can do, sorry. Go yell at Google or start relying less on their products and services.

Working on that right now! I'm actively working on hosting a local server to replace the Google Calendar, and I'm going to investigate replacing Google Maps. Just gotta research which other map application does not accumulate personal data about every address I've ever searched for.
I already use DuckDuckGo everywhere for Internet searches.
We all should have realized long ago that we're not Google's customers. We're its inventory.
WetGeek And you will always be it's inventory. Youtube and google know more about you than you do. Duck and Start Page are a start but google's tentacles are so far reaching, and they can cross-track you so well despite what we believe to be "browser extensions."
We created this beast and I accept my culpability since they make life so much easier (on paper).
All we can do is chip away at it, block it, etc. To to exist in a separate universe as them is not possible as far as I can see.
(I'm eager to learn about compartmentalization in browsing but another topic for another time).
For me authentication works, but only if 2-Step-Verification on the Google account is turned off during the authentication process.
I hope this helps all those that for one or another reason use Google products.
