laky do i get all new updates with 1 press in the "Software Center"
You can get updates from the Software Center (which is to be rewritten soon). Not with one button press, but it's not much more complicated than that. Open the "Updates" item in the left panel, and the rest should be pretty obvious.
But that's not the best way to get updates. It's better to open a terminal (command line) and get updates that way. The command to use is sudo eopkg up. To see what else the package manager can do, you can use sudo eopkg --help.
Keep an eye on the update's progress. Because of an eccentricity in the software mirrors, sometimes a large package creates a timeout, and the update needs to be restarted. That's really less of a problem than it sounds like. If things hang up and don't progress to a proper finish, just press Ctrl+C to exit the process, then use the Up arrow to repeat the command.
Eopkg will quickly advance to the package where it was stopped, and continue downloading the upgraded packages. I've seldom needed to restart the upgrades more than once. Sometimes I don't need to restart it at all - it just finishes normally.
You asked about this at a good time. Upgrades are usually released every Friday morning. Good luck with it!
