A stupid casual question from an upcoming AMD owner.

Hello there,
I heard that AMD has great Linux support (nothing new 😁), but yesterdays Digital Foundry video made me think.
Right now I'm using an Nvidia GPU and so many features are gone on Linux or I didn't notice them. My question is, is it the same for AMD?
With features, I mean what they advertise on their website.

HolySoap It's more what they don't list because it's assumed. Full support for HDMI audio was fairly recent. HDCP and FreeSync are getting there. Power-profiles and Overdrive kinds of features are finally working their way into the kernel and getting userland GUI apps. I think it's more that the base features of all the cards has worked more or less for the last 5 years or so.
