Having first installed Solus Budgie a couple of years ago, a little while back I installed and started to use i3, partly because I like TUI and partly because I was getting fed up with GNOME stuff like tracker and gnome-keyring-daemon, which was often breaking [1].
This worked well until my curiosity got the better of me and I logged in with i3 + GNOME and now GNOME seems to have contaminated i3.
For example, when I rebooted yesterday I got endless gnome-keyring dialogues [1] despite logging in to plain i3.
How should I fix this?
